Soak up the sun, sand and salt on this languid 8-day Southern California Beaches and Channel Islands Expedition. First spend a few days immersing yourself in the glitz and glamor of the City of Angels, taking in two of LA’s hottest beaches on a cycle tour and then scratching the surface of Hollywood and Koreatown with a local expert. Next embark on a 4-night, all-inclusive cruise of the natural wonderland that is the Channel Islands National Park. As well as enjoying everything your luxurious dreamboat has to offer and soaking up the serenity of the Pacific Ocean, you’ll also take time out to hike to historic Anacapa Lighthouse, to explore an ecologically important pine grove, and to delve into the shady past of vibrant Santa Catalina Island.

- Experience Hollywood your way, with guided visits to the Avenue of the Stars, Grauman’s Chinese Theater and – if you’re up for it – some late-night karaoke in Koreatown.
- Embark upon a four-night, all inclusive cruise to the Channel Islands National Park – also known as California’s Galapagos, thanks to its 145 endemic species.
- Explore the barren rock outcropping that is East Anacapa Island, hiking to a hundred-year-old lighthouse and exploring Arch Rock in a Zodiac.
- Kayak, hike and swim to your heart’s content on idyllic Santa Rosa Island, where you’ll also explore a one-of-a-kind pine grove.
- Get to know quirky Santa Catalina Island, the one-time haunt of smugglers and gold-diggers that was transformed into a resort destination by chewing gum tycoon William Wrigley, Jr. in the 1920s.
