It’s recommended to visit Uganda during the dry seasons, from December to February and June to September. During these months, temperatures range from 65°F to 80°F, providing comfortable conditions for exploration. Tour the Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to an abundance of wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, elephants, and hippos.  

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is renowned for its population of endangered Mountain Gorillas. From December to February and June to September, Bwindi experiences its dry season. Navigating this ancient rainforest is made easier with temperatures of between 60°F and 75°F.

From June to October, the weather is generally dry and sunny, making it ideal for game drives and wildlife viewing. This period is also the best time to witness the Great Migration in the Serengeti, as millions of wildebeest and other animals cross the plains in search of fresh grazing. 

The shoulder seasons in Tanzania offer a mix of advantages. From November to March, the weather is generally warm, and it's a great time for birdwatching as migratory birds arrive. It's also a good time to visit the southern parks, such as Selous and Ruaha. In May, the short rainy season begins, and while there may be some showers, the landscapes are lush and green, offering beautiful scenery and fewer crowds. 

Tanzania is also known for its exquisite coastal destinations, such as Zanzibar, Pemba Island, and Mafia Island. For a beach holiday, the dry season from June to October is the best time, as the weather is sunny, and the waters are clear for snorkeling and diving. However, even during the wet season, the coastal areas can still be enjoyed, with shorter rain showers and lush vegetation.
